Difference between printed media & broadcast media

What is media? Media is a communication tool to share information and news to all people. Media has divided into three types which are print media, broadcast media and internet. But, today, I would like to talk about the difference between printed media and broadcast media. Print media is one of the oldest forms of information distribution and it is one of the most popular forms of advertising due to its ability to reach a wider audience. There are different types of print media, for example, newspapers, magazines, newsletters, brochures, posters and many more. Broadcast media can transmit information more faster than print media. It shares information through television and radio by airing audio and video to the public.

Readers who want to know more about a particular news will get more information through print media because television and radio have scheduled time for the news, so the reporters or DJ can't talk much about the news. Besides, for people who live in places where there are no electricity, or they can't afford to buy a television, newspaper is the best choice for them because it is cheap. Furthermore, television and radio will report the local weather and traffic which you won't see it in the printed media. Radio has larger audience because people will listen to it when they are driving. Moreover, some people likes to watch or listen to news through television and radio because newspaper is quite boring since it contains pages full of words.
